Manager Owen Heary has announced the signing of striker Davy O’Sullivan from Longford Town.
An amateur International striker, Davy signed for ‘de Town’ from Wayside Celtic in 2013, Davy (with a total goals haul of 65 league goals) has been the top goal scorer for Longford Town in each of those seasons, with 21 of those goals in the 2014 season, on the way to winning the First Division.
Last season (2017), Davy made fifteen appearances for the Midlanders, finishing the season with nine goals.
His signing has brought to fifteen the number of players signed ahead of the 2018 season, Davy joining James English, Jamie Doyle, Adam Evans, Dylan Kavanagh, Gavin Boyne, Dylan Grimes, James O’Brien, Mark Hughes, Aidan Collins, James Brown, Derek Prendergast, Alan Byrne, Lee Steacy and Dean Delany.

Shelbourne brought their squad ahead of the 2018 season to fourteen with the re-signing of James Brown and James O’Brien, together with Lee Steacy joining from Bray Wanderers.
James Brown joined Shelbourne Under 19s, managed by Martin Murray, from St. Kevins in 2015. He was promoted to the senior panel by then manager Kevin Doherty and made three league appearances for himwhile still completing the season for Murray. He was re-signed for the 2017 season by manager Owen Heary, making thirteen appearances in the the league, three on the way to winning the Leinster Senior Cup, one in the EA Sports Cup and two in the FAI Cup.
James O’Brien signed for Owen Heary before the start of the 2017 season and made 15 league and two Leinster Senior Cup appearances in that season.
Goalkeeper Lee Steacy played with Shamrock Rovers U19 side in 2011/12. He had a spell with Firhouse Clover before joining Bohemians in 2015. He made just one league appearance during the 2015 season, which came in the 0-0 draw with Bray Wanderers in May. He stayed as the no.2 goalkeeper for the 2016 season and didn’t make a league appearance before leaving Bohemians in July 2016 to sign for Bray Wanderers. Lee made his debut for Wanderers in July 2017 in a league game against Finn Harps when he replaced the red carded Peter Cherrie. His only other league game was away to Bohemians the following week, which ended 0-0. He did, however, play in the first round of the FAI Cup against Cork City – which the Cork side won by the only goal of the game, a 59th minute finish by Kieran Sadlier.

Early Bird prices are available until Wednesday, December 20th.
Student tickets are available to anyone in full time education or holding a third-level student ID that is valid until at least 30 March 2018.
Juvenile tickets are available to those aged 14 and under on 30 March 2018.
If you purchase any of the reduced-price tickets, you may be asked to provide evidence on collection or at the turnstile that you qualify so please bring valid student card, photo ID and/or evidence of age, as appropriate.

You may also purchase your ticket in person from Tolka Park. A 5% credit/debit card fee applies in all cases where a card is used for payment (online or in person). Gavin Boyne met with Shelbourne manager Owen Heary lasyt evening and agtreed on a return to the Tolka Park side for 2018, having spent 2017 at Longford Town.
During his season with the Strokestown Road club, he made 19 appearances for ‘de Town’ – (16 League and three League Cup games (including a LC goal against Shelbourne, when his side won 2-0).
His signing brings the number of players signed for the coming season to 11.

Mark Hughes is the latest player to commit to Shelbourne for the 2018 season, having made 19 League, two FAI Cup and two Leinster Senior Cup appearances during the 2017 season.
This brings to ten the number of players who have re-signed for the club, as he joins Dean Delany, Alan Byrne, Derek Prendergast, Aidan Collins, Dylan Grimes, Dylan Kavanagh, Adam Evans, Jamie Doyle and James English.

Manager Owen Heary has today confirmed that he has
re-signed Dylan Kavanagh and Jamie Doyle ahead of the 2018 season.
Dylan Kavanagh signed for Shelbourne in December 2016 ahead of the 2017 season, a season which saw him make 11 league appearances, one in the FAI Cup and two in the Leinster Senior Cup (including the Cup Final at Oriel Park in October).
Having joined from Bohemians in July '17, Jamie Doyle went on to make seven league appearances and two in the FAI Cup before the end of the season, scoring one League goal (away to Lingford Town) and one FAI Cup goal (away to Waterford).

Dylan Grimes joined Shelbourne Under 19s as a 16 year-old in 2014 and was promoted to the Senior Squad ahead of the 2016 season where he made four appearances for, while also appearaing a number of times for the U19s.
2017 saw him make nine League appearances, three Leinster Senior Cup appearances and one appearance inthe League Cup, scoring once – in a 4-1 league win over Athlone Town at Tolka Park in September. he also fitted in a few games with the U19s, scoring on one occasion.
Dylan re-signed ahead of the 2018 season, on November 3rd.

Shelbourne Under 17s, managed by Stephen Finn, travelled to Wigan Athletic yesterday, where they took on Australian Under 18 side, IFDN.
The opposition – the International Football Development Network – were no match for the impressive Shels team, who ran our 3-1 winners, with goals from Kian Delaney, Deiric Hyland and an og.
Nice finish to the season. Well done to Stephen and the lads.
