Nia became the latest academy graduate when she made her senior debut on the final day of the league season as a second half substitute down in cork.

She has been with the academy at U-17 level in 2021 and the double winning side of 2022, and the cup runners up U-19 side of 2023 where she made 18 appearances for throughout last season at centre half.

Nia’s mother Cora also played for the Reds in our pre-national league days in a side managed by none other than current commercial director Niall Fitzmaurice and kit man Johnny Watson.

Hannon is also an accomplished gaelic footballer and has represented the dubs at minor level
