Returning to the Reds after a year away is Jess Gargan a vital cog in the league winning side of 2021 and the double winning side of 2022.

A force down the right flank and also comfortable slotting into the centre of the defence the swords native was a product of the reds academy.

Before leaving to gain experience with Peamount United and a transatlantic trip to pursue a college education coupled with football at Quinnipiac University between 2015 – 2018.

Returning to the Reds in 2019 going onto make 83 appearances so far scoring on 9 occasions.

In 2023 Jess played for the newly reformed Shamrock Rovers women’s side during which time she made her 100th domestic appearance.

Internationally Jess was capped an Schoolgirl, U-16, U-17 and U-19 levels before going onto make the first of her to date 2 senior international appearances against the USA in 2019.

Upon her return the Reds Jess Gargan said
