The Kildare woman joined the Reds academy in 2022 from Peamount United and was a key player as Ken Kiernan’s side would go onto win league and cup honours last year.

Once again this term Lucy a defender by trade has been playing for a mix of both the U-17 and U-19 national league sides making a combined 16 appearances between the two teams so far.

Capped at underage international level at schoolgirl U-15 level where she was part of a victorious Bob Docherty Cup Irish selection in 2022 representing her school St. Mary’s College in Naas, And more recently the Ireland Women’s Under 16 side aswell where she lined out against Germany in St. Kevin’s shanowen road facility under the management of our very own Megan Smyth-Lynch alongside other red’s players Hannah Healy, Aoibhe Brennan, Hannah O’Brien and Rebecca Devereux.

All this work while having to deal with the little matter of sitting & studying for her Junior Certificate in school will be rewarded in September with a place on the plane to Lithuania as part of the senior squad that travel for our Champions League qualifying campaign.
