The maynooth university student and another product of the reds academy returns for another year with the senior side. Leah had to bide her time somewhat to get into the starting eleven but once her path into the team was cleared by summer departures to England she grabbed the chance with both hands and the fullback was a mainstay in the side in 2022. Leah, it may surprise some to know, is also a world handball champion so Heather wasn’t our only world champion last year.
