The 30 year old attacking midfielder made 27 appearances for Bohs, scoring twice.

Prior to signing for Bohemians in June of 2022 O’Sullivan had been in plying his trade in the UK. Coming through the academy at Blackburn Rovers, he had stops at Carlisle, Dundee, Blackpool, Morecambe, Bury, Barnsley, Rochdale, Blackpool and Accrington Stanley before arriving in Phibsborough.

O’Sullivan was capped for Ireland at youth levels from Under 15 up to Under 21.

John O’Sullivan said: “I am delighted to finally get this over the line. After speaking to the manager it was clear to me where I wanted to play my football next season. Shels is a club I have watched since I was a young boy and I cannot wait to put on that jersey and show everyone what I can do.
