Coming close to the end of the league competition, before the Champions Knockout Phase of the SSE Under 17 competition (see below),Shelbourne currently top the league table on 22 points, ahead of Bohemians on 21 points, though Bohs have a game in hand, as do Dundalk on 19 points. KNOCKOUT PHASE
The Champions Knockout Phase will decide the overall National Under-17 Champions of Ireland andis made up of the toptwo teams in each of the three Sections and the two best third placed teams.
This phase will be played on a knockout basis and will consist of four Quarter-Finals, two Semi-Finals and Final.
The winners of each of Sections 1, 2 and 3 plus the bestsecond placed team will have home advantage in the Quarter-Finals.
