The new season started for Shelbourne’s Under 17s, managed by Stephen Finn, with a terrific four goals to one win away to Longford Town, in the SSE Airtricity U17 League, Northern Division.
Shelbourne were well worth their winning margin, having been on top from the first whistle and could have increased their goal tally on a number of occasions, notebly just before Longford got their consolation goal, literally with the last kick of the game.
