Martin Murray is delighted to announce two more signings, but in this instance both are promotions from within, coming from Stephen Finn’s U17s.
Ryan O’Neill is a talented goalkeeper joining Shels last July from Home Farm and making the No.1 jersey his own. He has played pre-season for the 19s and Ryan, who is still only 16, has so impressed Murray that he has decided to signfrom within.
Michael Murphy is a talented 16 year old Midfielder who has shown a lot of promise, who Murray believes could go a long way. Murray was influential in bringing Mikey to Shelbourne from NDSL Raheny United in June 2014.
Both players are eligible to still play at U17.
These two signings takes the 19’s squad to twenty, and with several trialists still in camp, Murray will decide over next 10 days / two weeks whether to add to squad or leave it as is.
