Due to an administrative error tickets for the match were made available on Drogheda United’s website before our loyal season ticket holders had the opportunity to access them, contrary to our longstanding policy.
Shelbourne FC will always send the ticket link for away games first to Season Ticket for a priority sale window of 24 hours, with any remaining tickets going on general sale thereafter.
At Shelbourne FC, we value the support of our dedicated season ticket holders, and one of the clear benefits of purchasing a season ticket is priority access, subject to capacity restrictions, to away tickets. Unfortunately, due to this error on the part of Drogheda United, this priority access did not occur as intended.
As was the intention, we will be issuing a ticket link to our season ticket holders tonight (Tuesday April 2) at 7pm via email. Any remaining tickets, if available after the priority window, will then be made available for general sale on Wednesday at 7pm.
All tickets purchased for the away end prior to this evening will be cancelled and refunded. It is imperative to note that these tickets will not be valid for entry to the match, including tickets that may have been purchased by season ticket holders.
