Midfielders Stephen Sheerin and Stephen McDonnell, together with striker Michael Duffy have today parted company with Shelbourne FC, by mutual consent.
Stephen Sheerin played for two seasons with the Shelbourne FC Under 19 squad, 2011/12 and 2012/13.
Stephen appeared for the first team while still playing for the U19s and during the 2013 season went on to make 5 league appearances, along with three Leinster Senior Cup and two FAI Cup games. His only senior appearance this season was in the EA Cup game against Bray Wanderers in March.
Stephen McDonnell, formerly of Dundalk FC, Glasgow Celtic and Quay Celtic(Dundalk), joined Shelbourne last November and has made 12 league appearances for the club – ten starts and two as sub.
Michael Duffy (ex-Mervue United & Ballina United) joined Shelbourne at the start of the year and has featured in three league games and one in each of the EA Cup and Leinster Senior Cup.
