Shelbourne FC is delighted to announce the signing of highly rated teenager Aoife Kelly.

Aoife, from Carlow, is a Republic of Ireland U17 international and at 15 has already garnered an impressive reputation within the game.

Aoife is a central midfielder and arrives to Tolka Park from St Patrick’s Carlow for her maiden season in the FAI Women’s National League.

Kelly featured in all of Ireland’s victories against Norway, Hungary, and Bulgaria in the under-17 European Championship qualifiers last October helping Ireland finish 2021 as the best-ranked team in Europe.

Shelbourne FC Women’s First Team Manager Noel King said: “We’re delighted that Aoife has chosen to sign with us. She is an exciting talent and we’re looking forward to having her in the squad which will be a great year for her development.”
