Libby Moore

Libby becomes the club’s second North Carolina native to sign in 2023 joining her former teammate and fellow University of North Carolina alumni Maggie Pierce.

Hailing from Wilmington NC on the Atlantic coastline of the state she attended Cape Fear Academy where she began her footballing career.

Moving onto the Tar Heels of university of North Carolina in durham where she was not just a soccer star but also a highly skilled swimmer and field hockey player which she competed at all 3 sports while studying for her degree in Biology.
On the football pitch while at UNC Moore played a total of 64 games across the years scoring on two occasions.

Once graduated she flew the coup and signed a professional contract with Fortuna Hjorring in Denmark to play in the top tier of Women’s football in the country with the side finishing 3rd in the table in her one and only season at the club which ended last May.

Libby played 9 times throughout the season for Fortuna, a club with the more in the know among you will be aware that former Reds player and senior Irish international Roma McLaughlin has signed up for the 2023-24 season with.
