Kayla grew up in the suburbs of the nation’s capitol in the neighboring state of Virginia. Where she attended George Mason University between 2017 and 2021. During the course of her studies at Mason, Kayla made a total of 65 appearances scoring 10 goals and providing 3 assists.
Upon completion of her degree programme Kayla earned a contract with NWSL side Houston Dash where she played in 2022.
