A strong and competitive centre-half, Sam arrived at Tolka Park in June of 2024 from Mainstone United and didn’t waste any time in getting on the right side of the Shels’ fans! In the stifling summer heat, next to the Rock of Gibraltar, Sam netted his first goal for Shelbourne; one that would see the Reds progress in Europe for the first time in eighteen years!
Sam would go on to lift the Premier Division trophy that year and help the club to a third placefinish in 2025. Going into the 2026 season the English defender, who is a product of the Charlton Athletic Academy, will be looking to become a regular starter for Joey O’Brien’s men and further add to his very successful time in the red of Shelbourne FC.
