Kate is in her second spell at the Reds having come through the Shelbourne Academy and into the senior team at the tender age of sixteen. She exploded back onto the domestic scene upon her return from Lewes FC in July of 2024 where she notched an incredible twelve goals in just eleven appearances! She gave her Shelbourne team a real shot in the arm that almost propelled them to a league and cup double. She notably netted a first half brace in Shels’ 6-1 FAI Cup Final demolition of Athlone Town and finishing the 2024 season on a massive high.

Kate looked to be continuing where she had left off as it took her less than a minute to register her first goal of 2025 on the opening day against Shamrock Rovers! She would go on to score 12 league goals in as many games as well as 3 goals in 6 cup matches. Her season was tragically cut short when she was fouled in the semi-final of the All-Island Cup and the resulting knee injury prematurely ended her season.

Losing the last third of the 2025 season was tough on Kate and her teammates. Kate will feel she has some unfinished business to set right in 2026 when she retakes to the field for Dublin’s Finest.
