JJ Lunney joined Shels in 2021 and has gone from strength to strength in the red shirt since lifting the Fist Division title in his first season at Tolka Park.
A fluid midfielder who can both battle for possession as well as take good care of the football, JJ has become a real fan favourite over the years. An instrumental part of 2024’s Premier Division title success and last year’s European exploits, JJ appears to be playing the best football of his career.
Fans will be expecting to see more of his cultured left foot as he tackles his sixth season representing Dublin’s Finest.
