Jess Gargan is a defender’s defender! Physically strong both in the air and in the tackle, Jess relishes the task of stopping the opposition by any means!
A player with Shelbourne in her DNA the teak-tough defender is a Reds’ Academy graduate who has had multiple stints at the club. Since returning from Shamrock Rovers in 2024, Jess has been a ubiquitous part of the Shelbourne rearguard.
A vital component of the league winning side of 2021 and the double winning side of 2022, Jess has since gone on to add the FAI cup of 2024 to that impressive haul. With two senior international caps to her name, Jess really is a defender of the highest quality.
She will be hoping that 2026 can be another hugely successful year for her and the team.
