The 22-year-old Welshman joins the Reds from Kilmarnock having really impressed during a loan spell at Derry City. Standing at an imposing 6ft 5” (195cms) the young net-minder has allthe attributes required to be an elite goalkeeper.

Eddie has accrued plenty of experience already having been part of both Southampton and Chelsea Academies prior to signing for SPFL side Kilmarnock. He has also represented Wales at U19 and U21 levels; not bad for a player who saw himself as a striker as a teenager!

Speaking upon his arrival at Tolka Park Eddie told the club: “I’m delighted to be joining Shelbourne. It’s a massive club with big history and as soon as I spoke to the manager and Luke, I knew it was somewhere I wanted to be. I really enjoyed my time in the League of Ireland earlier this season and I’m excited to be back.”
