Aoibheann made the switch from Wexford to Shelbourne in January of 2025. The all-action midfielder hit the ground running and never looked back in an excellent debut season in red.

The Limerick native made 30 league and cup appearances for Shels, scoring a satisfying six goals into the bargain. The cultured and assured performances that Aoibheann gave in the middle of the park were eye-catching enough to see her called into several senior international Republic of Ireland squads. No doubt Aoibheann will be hoping that her performances in 2026 can yield similar results.

Silky and controlled in possession – determined and dogged without; Aoibheann has all the attributes of a top-class midfielder. Aoibheann will be hoping that her reputation continues to grow among the Tolka Park faithful and beyond this coming season.
