New operational measures at Tolka Park for 2020

Dear Supporter,

As you know, this Friday marks our return to the Premier Division. With this in mind we would like to remind you of some new operational procedures being put in place going forward for this season.

Future Ticketing are our new ticketing partners and, as I’m sure you’re aware by now, tickets can be purchased online at

  • Home supporters will enter through the Drumcondra end of the stadium via the 3 turnstiles
  • At this moment Season Tickets will have their own dedicated entrance
  • Prior to you entering the turnstile your ticket will be scanned
  • Barcodes are unique and can only be scanned once. Any duplicates will be denied entry.
  • No exceptions
  • Allow time for bag searches
  • Away supporters will enter through the Ballybough turnstiles
  • An Garda Siochana have put the following traffic restrictions in place on match nights going forward:
  1. Richmond Road will be closed off from the Drumcondra side at 6pm until after the game
  2. Traffic will not be permitted through the Richmond Rd/Ballybough junction until after the game
  3. Local vehicles will be permitted access from the Drumcondra side with ID and proof of address
  • We urge you not to use flares or smoke bombs inside the stadium as we are constantly being fined and cannot continue to take these fines on board
  • New CCTV is in place in the stadium and those found to be using flares, smoke bombs, or involving themselves in any sort of anti-social behaviour will be removed and denied access to Tolka Park going forward
  • For health and safety reasons we must insist that there is no standing in the area behind the Away dugout in the vicinity of the bar entrance. This behaviour will be monitored and those in breach will be asked to return to their seats

We really appreciate all your support and hope that you can understand these new measures that we have to put in place and work with us to make Tolka Park a safe and secure venue.
