Colm Crowe moves from UCD to Shelbourne

Colm Crowe becomes Kevin Doherty’s latest signing for Shelbourne FC.

A 6ft midfielder, Crowe played his early football with Stella Maris, where he picked up back to back premier titles, LFA youth cup and All Ireland cup winners medals. He wascapped at under 15, 16 and 19 level for Ireland.

He made his senior debut for UCD against Bohemians at Dalymount in the Leinster Senior Cup late inFebruary 2013 and scored his first senior goal in the same competition, in the 2-1 loss against Shelbourne at Tolka in June. In between, he made his league debut fro the ‘Students’ away to Derry City in May and played against Bohs inthe EA Cup in March. He ended the season playing in3 league games, 2 LSC games and1 EA Cup game.

During 2014, ‘Collie’ played in 22 League games (16 starts),1 Leinster Senior Cup game (against Shelbourne, which the students won on penalties) and in the first play-off game against Galway FC.
